Testo, Inc. exhibited at the ASHRAE - International trade show for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration from the 25th to the 27th of January 2010 in Orlando.
In the United States, the ASHRAE is among the most important fairs in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration field. From the 25th to the 27th of January 2010, over 1,800 exhibitors were represented at the show, contributing to the success of the event. This year, the ASHRAE attracted more than 44,000 visitors, registering a dramatic increase compared to previous visitor numbers.
Dr. Joerk Hebenstreit, Managing Director for Research and Development at Testo AG summarizes his general impression of the exhibition as follows:
“The ASHRAE fair in the USA provided a good general impression of the existing product portfolio, and of the competition active in this market. Testo AG's performance was an overall success, and confirmed our present and future chances of developing further in this market. I particularly valued the personal contact with our staff, important customers and many trade experts at the fair.”
Testo, Inc. was present at the ASHRAE with a broad product portfolio from different areas of measurement technology. The emphasis in the product presentations was in the fields of refrigeration and infrared measurement technology.
Great interest was demonstrated by the show visitors, especially in the refrigeration field, a fact supported by the statement by Florian Endres, Product Manager for Refrigeration Measurement Technology at Testo AG: “The powerful customer interest in the entire product portfolio was tangible during the exhibition. The focus on the products from the field of refrigeration measurement technology as well as the thermal imager was particularly noticeable. The strong customer feedback on the digital manifolds testo 523 and testo 560 should be especially emphasized. This reflected the whole mood of the show, where there was a clear positive feeling for the year 2010.”
One of the high points for Testo, Inc. was the RSES Journal Readers’ Choice Award. The Readers’ Choice Award honors one of the most powerful customer responses to ads in the RSES Journal for products from a particular provider. Testo, Inc. received the RSES Readers’ Choice Award for a sales promotion campaign in the refrigeration market which elicited extraordinary customer feedback. The ASHRAE was used as a platform to officially present the award to Testo, Inc.
